The Vaishno Devi shrine is located in a cave towards the top of the Trikuta Mountains in Jammu-Kashmir. There are three pindies for Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati. Vaishno Devi is mostly identified with Mahalakshmi although She is the combined shakti's of all three. This is believed to be the only place where these three Devi's are found in one temple as natural pindies. The yatra, on foot, starts from Katra and continues up the mountain for around 12 kilometers. The yatra follows the path Vaishno Devi took when fleeing from Bhairon. Thousands of devotees make the climb daily to have darshan. It is believed that Vaishno Devi is the elder sister of the other seven Devi Mata's (Kangra, Jwalaji, Chamunda, Chintapurni, Naina and Mansa)

1: DelhiReceiving of guests from new delhi railway station-check in hotel- visit of Qutub Minar, India Gate, Jantar Mantar, Rajghat
Day 2: Jammu
Drive to Jammu- check in hotel
Day 3: Jammu - Katra
Morning arrival at Jammu. Afternoon explore the city of Jammu. Leave for Katra in the evening and on arrival, check-in at the Hotel.
Day 4: Katra - Mata Vaishno Devi Temple
Early morning Trek* to Mandir (16 kms). Return by evening. Night halt.
Day
5: Katra Shoping at Katra. Explore the city of Katra- Relax after *trekking
Day 6: Patni Top
Drive to Pattni top-check in hotel-Pony rides along little known trails- walking.
Day 7: Delhi
Drive to Delhi
